Coincidence?

Maybe the police officer owns a jeep and this is his 2nd offence.

I never knew HPD patrolled the HOV lanes... New one on me....

You said "let me get my food first" to a cop who thought you were in a handicapped spot and had you actually been in one that would have been a thing to say, which is of course how he took it. Most people without a chip on there shoulder would respond "Why should I move it?" To which he would tell you, "you are in a handicapped spot." "No it's not officer" then he checks and sees he is wrong and apologizes.

But in the mysterious space between your ears that modern science can't quite explain you thought he wanted you to move your bike a few spots over because he doesn't like your haircut or mode of transportation or whatever.

This. Idk if I really believe an officer put hands on him for simply saying "let me get my food" pretty well known and taught to NOT be touching or poking ppl to provoke them bc if they punch that officer. It's his fault for laying the hand to begin with. (Yes I know we have brutality and all that. I'm just saying, assuming this officer was one of the good ones)

Just getting into the field hardly qualifies as knowing how cops act

I know, me too. Have you tried In-n-out Burger? I've had it a couple of times and no comparison, yet people keep trying to tell me it's better.

These stories crack me up.

I'm 43 years old. Been riding motorcycles since I was 8 in one form or fashion . I have had exactly ONE comment from a LEO. Only because he made an assumption about a situation that was WAY off. (Side story of incident - I was leading a ride and we came over a hill with an Australian couple in our lane. Second rider crashed avoiding me and the car. LEO's arrived and helped. One late LEO arrival pulls up and comments "That's what happens when you'll ride like this" while grinning ear to ear. I told him he was out of line and didn't know ; the other LEO's explained what happened...he didn't talk (or grin) the rest of the time.)

If you are getting messed with, you might want to re-evaluate your actions just to be sure you aren't causing the drama. MAYBE, just MAYBE it was nothing that you made into something. Yes, there are a-holes out there. Even with them, being polite and respectful seems to fix any drama.

Of course, I'm big, goofy, white, and male...so maybe I don't get profiled.

There will be one here in Cedar Park (NW of Austin) before the end of the year.

But the question is, does it taste like the original?

What does that have to do with cops molesting innoncent bikers?

You need to take this more seriously, young man. The next groping could be YOU!

Yeah, I stopped at one somewhere around the CA / AZ border. I was unimpressed. YMMV.
