HCSO has it out for us...BE CAREFUL

So today I roll into a local fast food burger joint that usually has 3-4 HCSO sitting inside drinking coffee and eating. No big deal right?

I park in the front in a non-handicap spot like any good biker would do, walk inside and I get harassed for parking there.

Officer approaches me as I am ordering my food and asked me to move my bike. I continue to order my food asking him to "sir, can you please wait until I am finished ordering my food?" He places his hand on my shoulder to turn me around and I side step his grasp and say "Sir, you have no legal reason to place your hands on me. My bike is parked legally and I see no reason for you to use your authoritative powers to ask me to move my bike nor place you hands on me." As I am doing this in a very calm and relaxed state and there are 4 other customers waiting to be served he gets really upset and leaves mumbling "Fuc*ing biker!". I remember his badge number and his supervisor will hear from me through my attorney. I noticed the area we were standing was being filed by the local burger joint surveillance system. The manager came out and asked if there is anything he could do to assist me. I said "Sir, thanks..if this gets elevated I will need you to hold those surveillance tapes for my attorney."

All of this just because HE (the officer) did not like where I parked and I was profiled as a biker. Watch it guys and ladies...don't know what is going on in Harris County these days but heads up. Mike +1, Officer=0 LOL

I've had a similar story but I just sat on the curb and waited for the moto cops to leave so I may exit the parking lot in the direction I wanted to not the direction I was told to.

Since there will likely be LEOs read this, could I get one to weigh in on the actual rules are as far as a LEO putting their hands on someone who hasn't been stopped when driving a vehicle or in the process of being arrested, etc.?

This isn't bait for drama; I'm curious because there are a lot of people (especially now with all the military operations that have been ongoing) with PTSD or similar issues that may be unable to handle a situation like this appropriately, or with what most people would consider normal restraint in this kind of situation.

There is a good chance that this is not the right thread to ask such a serious question, and if need be will start another to get a serious, accurate response.

That's what I'm trying to figure out.

It was or wasn't a parking spot?

Striped, sidewalk, shared spot with another bike, or a spot that any vehicle would've parked in?

Thats what I was thinking at the beginning, then he said it was parked legally, so I came to the conclusion that it was actually parked in a valid spot.

"in front of a non handicap spot" vs in a parking place

???

Now should cop have touched him, no.....but nobody would lie on the internet or leave out pertinent facts, right?

time and time again, in post after post you prove that your reading comprehension is absolute . The op stated "in front in a non-handicapped space," not "in front of a non-handicapped space."
Now, go ahead and blame it on posting from your phone.

"in front in a non-handicapped space" could be any of these. We're just asking for clarification... Because it simply doesn't add up. I mean, the officer wanted the bike to be moved to the parking space next to it?

What did the officer see wrong with the parking? There had to be SOMETHING.
