"According to Sugar Land Police, the elderly male driver saw the motorcycle but misjudged the distance between the two vehicles when he turned in front of the rider."

Smh! sorry sounds like an move. If you caint judge the distance then don't freaking turn in front of someone.

Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength-

At some point people need to have keys taken away from them.

No charges were expected to be filed against the driver of the SUV. Police said the elderly man would most likely receive just a traffic citation for his involvement in the deadly accident.

That is up

Perhaps just a traffic citation--Uh No.
If it involves death, More must happen whether it was intentional or not.
Everything cant be dismissed with just a simple citation!
A young man's life was Taken here.

Yep.
Since he was elderly...should draw the old coot's blood and check for drugs in his system. If found DUI and manslaughter.

Easy to make snap judgments based on a news story.
Likely the police did an investigation and determined it wasn't the SUV drivers fault. If the bike hit it hard enough to make it over turn it was likely traveling a little fast and closed the distance unexpectedly quick.
Tragic but if you ride at elevated speed, you gotta be willing to accept the consequences.

Of course I'm basing all that on a news story so it could be completely wrong, lol

I guess it's no big deal to take a life as long as you "misjudge".

Accidents happen. That is why it is an accident. If the biker was in a car he probably would have survived. That is the elevated risk we take.

recall the police do not have to issues charges at the scene... viewing there was both a car and motorcycle that were cut off and only the motorcycle impacted it amd with sufficient force for it to roll over... seems there a bit more investigation being done than was given to the media.

Accidents happen yes. But everything has to have a fitting consequence.

Old people shouldn't be allowed to drive. Again, old people should not be allowed to drive!
