I did my motorcycle license riding test on a day with 46 mph gusts. bike was leaning in the straights... Almost kneed down..

DPS officer followed me around the neighborhood. She said " if you can keep that thing up in these winds with the car shaking, you should survive a little longer than the other riders out there"..

Wrap a wind breaker around the front of the bike, and you should be fine...

What's crazy is when you are topped out in a cross wind and leaning over. You lose od of the tire because you are riding the side. It cuts a lot off your top end. It's like a hearing change. Its nut how much can lose at say 150 from a 10-20 degree lean

went for a short ride on the MTB, it was nice, except when I stopped for a breather and a drink, it got kind of cold...picked up the pace a bit the last couple of miles back to the house, trying to beat the rain. I could see the cloud line moving in behind me. I got home about 10 minutes before the rain hit.
