Where to get tires and mounted?

I'm on the search for a new rear tire 260/40r18. I was recommended to on the border motorcycles in Pasadena.

Any other recommendations would be appreciated. I'm located in Pearland too so hopefully trying to find somewhere not to far.

On the Border is the LAST place you should go. that place. I left there with 60 psi on both tires. Specs call for 42. I noticed on the ride home that the handling was wayyy off. I called them to say that they need to watch out. They said they know what they are doing and hung up. They also scratched both rims. It was the first tire change. The denied it was done there

Not easy finding that size in stock.
Maybe get the tire there and have it mounted up the street at two wheeled toys

I can mount them, but I live in Crosby. I have perfected my technique using zip ties, and no scratches to the rim.

I had a few good experiences there. It was not my first set from them. First set on the Busa though. I nearly lost it in a turn due to the funky contact patch. I checked the air as a result. The way the responded is the reason I will not go back

Finding the tire isn't the problem. It's seems on the border isn't to good about there pressure.

I'll have to call 2 wheel toys and see what they can do.

Sounds like a stupid mindset to buy into.

Money is loss from not purchasing the tire from the shop, but it doesn't mean that the store is LOSING money from mounting the tire purchased online. They're just not making as much money.

Craig, you have about every tool in your garage.

Discount tires in Pasadena mount and balance sport bike tires for free. If it says $220 on the tire, that's what you pay + tax (so the government can stay shut-down)

Cruisers gotta pay.
Same tire costs extra for mount and balance.
