So that way u cant really dog the seller but u can give input on what the seller is selling.....since we r a community watching out for one another.

There r times when i see a price n want to tell them but cycle gear/motorcycle superstore/blah blah blah is selling it for this price, shouldn't urs be lower? But i don't.

Im only on about 3 forums so i dont know much about how forums work.
Have you not seen the number of broke dicks here who think everything is too expensive? 2008 cbr 1k. 12000mi. Stock. 5000.00. Blah blah blah I know a guy who got one for 4500.00. That is too high

I agree with this.. as a community ur should be able to help out the other members

but in the end "rules are rules" so just click on the ads, read them, laugh about it and then carry on

Classified Section Rules

5.0 If you intend on selling/posting in classifieds, please read the following:

- No selling of firewarms/weapons.
- No selling of animals. Animals may be posted in classifieds if they are being given away.
- No selling of , Drugs, Alcohol, ‘Warez’, STOLEN ITEMS or any items of the like.
- Item(s) for sale must be your own, no selling items for someone else
- Do not , or bash for sale threads. If you don’t like the price, PM the seller with your issue.
- No excessive thread bumping, once every 2 days is sufficient
- Only the originator of the F/S thread should put SOLD in the body of the thread.
- We are NOT an auction site, post an asking price. Don't start a bidding war. No raffles.
- One thread per item, do not post the item for sale in multiple sections of the forum.
- Sellers -- Do not post items for sale that you do not have in your possession.
- Members(Non-Sponsors) can only sell 4 titled items (BIKES, vehicles, boats, etc) per year. If you have a special case, please PM DvlRacer for approval before listing.

5.1 The board is not responsible for policing business dealings in the classified. Buy and sell at your own risk.

5.2 We suggest you provide feedback regarding vendors or dealers, but do not gratuitously slam a vendor on the board. Prior to posting, please contact them directly if possible to work out issues.
And Zero common sense?

Think MH got off the ground, and is what it is today with zero common sense? I don't disagree with everything y'all are saying, but to be honest, ya'll are in the minority here. And then how you guys are acting because you don't get to pick on someone is amazing. I'll tell you what I've told others. If you don't like how things are here, feel free to go make your own board, then I'll show you a list of 10 or more that have tried and only 2 that have something to offer to the community. All others failed.

So, being a is wrong...

I'm still proud.

I can list anything I want on CL at any price. Who cares how high it is? I see absurdly priced items posted all over. I chuckle, and ignore them. Simple.

I think it should say "If you have an issue with the price, too bad. This item is not for you. Move on, and pout somewhere else."

My point is being misconstrued and misunderstood. I'm saying MH is a community. Some people have no intentions of being a part of it and just want to post stuff for sale. Is that what we want or willing to tolerate?

Not so much about price, posting in classifieds, bans, etc.

Just a discussion of opinions.

I get your point, I was just replying to other posts.

As Chris pointed out, though, I have seen people post stupid on boards like "hi" and "werd" just to get 10 posts, in order to put something up for sale.

It would have to be a truly prohibitive number, like 5000. No one can BS through 5000 posts.

OH, wait. I did.

The main issue is people like you who think the community is limited to YOU and your friends that have been here a long time. How is the M/C rider that joins to post his bike for sale any less part of the community then you? Because he has spent less time on the Internet? Stop acting entitled and follow the rules. You don't like the rules, don't post or suggest a change in a productive manner or go elsewhere. Replying to motobot infractions with childish snide remarks isn't the answer.

I think Motobot has a bad attitude. He is worse than GB. I call for a ban.

One positive thing came out of it. Found the ban happy mod. Get off my tip

Not entitled and don't think its meant for ME and my friends that have been here a long time. I think MH is meant for all of us who WANT to actually be a part of it. Don't have a problem with people that join to sell stuff unless that's their ONLY reason for joining and don't plan on being here after. I like this site because of the camaraderie between all of us.

Oh, and you mad bro?

To be honest, Josh's post here is great. Discussion is fine, that's what MH is here for.

Send a message via AIM to dudewhrsmybike
Worldwide sites use minimum post counts, 1 month membership, etc for selling privileges and for good reason.

I don't really think it's necessary for a local site where you will probably be dealing with the seller face to face. Use your judgment when dealing with a new member selling on the forum. They can easily BS their way through a few posts to gain selling privileges.

Yes they can. I've replied with smart before and they've replied back to it. Motobot is a mod using that to post discretely. There's still someone behind it
