Court? Who said anything about going to court?

Me and a friend were coming off the HOV lane and two motorcycle cops pulled in behind us. Followed us till we split at the 290 hov ramp and I-10. One followed me and one followed him. We both let them pass us and kept pace. No problem here.

I do not believe it is illegal search and seizure.

Police are able to ask for identification when ever and where ever they want. It is a privilege to drive/ride by law not a right. You have to show proof you are legal.

Now searching property without warrant or probably cause is a different matter.

You are absolutely wrong here. You can't be pulled over without cause

Probable cause can be had pretty easy .

Um sir, the reason I pull you over is because you didn't signal a lane change back there.

Yes I did!!!!

License and registration please...

Bam! Your word against his and you'll lose every time on the side of the road.

very few who run actually get away... the ones who do not die, go to jail.
While it does happen the odds are not in your favor.

I'm aware of this. Doesn't make it legal. Doesn't make it stand in court either. I get that we are talking side of the road court , but it must be pointed out that no serious charges will stick. If they said you were stopped due to a call, that will have to be proven. If it was a traffic violation, that's why they have cams. I didn't pass the bar but I've defended myself on a felony charge and a divorce.

Bwahahaha

Do you know how many dash cams happened to be "not recording" when the video was requested?

Its happened to me 3 times when I was trying to prove the cop was full of . One of them was when they beat the bajesus out of me.

His word against yours still stands up in court.

I know the ins and outs. I've heard plenty. I have a few connections and I hear all the inside . I know what they are capable of. You know I'm not dense.

I totally agree, but if they want to pull you over they can, and make up any petty reason to do so.
