They're still trying to identify and find the individuals responsible (ie the guy who smashed the window with his helmet). One guy, who was seen in the video punching the rear window (but never touched the guy, apparently) was not prosecuted. I believe their intent is still to go after the guys who commit the beating.

That is the only way to proceed. However, I wouldn't be surprised of the NYC DA drops the ball on this.

Btw. Saw this on the ny post website

And next year when they run this rally again they will that the po-po is all up in their pulling them over and confiscating even more bikes than they did this time. I would not dare be on a bike in NYC right now.

Someone (george?) posted a link on FB that had 7 videos up that this guy had deleted. Before he could delete them, people had downloaded all of them. I'll see if I can find it.

Yeah, most of them are labled "Videos from before the RR incident".

But by "before", they mean at any given time and location weeks, months, years, etc ... not leading up to RR incident. They just show lots of lanesplitting, shoulder riding, sidewalk riding, illegal bikes, and swarming cars.

Out of the huge group that rolled up after the brake checking, I'd bet theres some video somewhere. I also bet plenty of them are gonna keep quiet.

Seriously, Lady Gaga. Hopefully Britney will weigh in, also. I mean, it's a nice gesture, but why?
