If they want 'justice' they'd view the vid and get the police report before demanding 'justice' and assigning blame. It's the rider that cutoff the SUV that should bear the brunt of responsibility for the events that followed, followed by those that attacked the suv.

I am honestly surprised at the apparent lack of support for boobies.

Who wants boobies after they have been run over by a Range Rover?

Are you saying the boobies got run over or that whoever got run over still wants boobies?

They need to stop screaming for justice becasue there is no so thing. The legal system we have is a penal system. In place within it are checks and balances to ensure that anyone accused of a crime who can afford it gets a fair trial. These checks and balances are what we loosely, very loosely, refer to as the Justice System. The only way to get justice for a victim is to restore to them, their families and communities the uninterrupted life they had prior to the event.
You can't give a guy and his new bride back their Sunday afternoon anniversary drive. You can't the image of having your husband or your dad beaten and face down in the streets out of the mind of the wife and kid. You can't remove the anxiety they will now both feel when next they see a motorcyclist. You can't restore the use of the riders legs, you can't restore the money it will take to prosecute the case, medical bills, fix bikes and reputation of sport biker accross the country. You can't even restore my time to read and reply to this thread! That would be justice. No... No

What they really want is penance at best, or revenge at worst.

They wanted street justice initially, they got a taste of it, then they beat him up, now they want legal justice But not look at their behavior prior

Cutting someone off isn't legal.

I would say the weight is gonna go on whoever committed the first documented illegal action between them.

Then the bikers who were stunting, cutting people off, lane splitting, and ridding like general jackasses (all caught on video) well before the incident with the RR would be the individuals to blame by that logic. Sheesh.

Reckless Driving? Cutting off someone with the intention or slowing/stopping before the following driver has time to react.... yes try that on a LEO.

It is illegal, just hard to prove w/o video evidence and/or a cop witnessing it when it happens.

Supposedly, that same group of riders had over 200 police calls claiming they had been harrassing other drivers and riding recklessly all over the city. Not sure if it was that day or over numerous days.

They got another one of the riders...

Another suspect, Allen Edwards, is the one who yanked Lien out of his bashed-in car after a wild chase, starting the vicious beating of the dad, sources told The Post.

I see the similarities. It's like lemonade and coffee. You can drink them both.
Merely that there was a group of bikes, and a single automobile with whom they found themselves at odds. With only two or three scooters stopped in front of the Cadillac, had my hot-headed friend decided to really mess with the driver, what would have stopped a similar outcome (riders being run over), or worse, him shot while trying to get at a driver in his car? My only point was, had someone actually been hit, I think we would've found out exactly what would have come of the situation, as I believe that pack mentality would have taken over and there would have been a very physical confrontation, and likely with a similar or worse outcome.

Truth is, once it escalates like that, it doesn't matter who hit who first. Everyone loses. Especially the guy without a big crash cage around him.

The "pack" had been in the right two lanes, and we had a few guys who had been stopping at small side streets previously (not to block traffic, but to help increase awareness of our presence) who had come around in the 3rd lane moving back to the front with the ride leader.

Should we have taken up the whole road? No, and we did not, nor did we make any attempts to overtake or block anyone who chose to go around us.

Reports say the guy turned himself in. According to some reports he would be the gent bravely punching in vain at the rear window next to the two year old in the car seat. Perhaps he is not the pansy I assumed him to be based on the film. Though he is likely already singing like a canary in order to plead down.

I want to know if old chrome helment flying the MC cut proud for the camera is going to be forced by the MC to turn himself in. He appears to have been the most animately interested in the driver almost from the start. Way to bring heat on the MC bro!

I would hate to see it go down. If I was to accidentally hit a rider after he brake checked me I would feel bad. I would feel bad for any paint missing from my front bumper mostly. If the mob tried to attack me after that, I would be wishing my truck had bigger tires and skid plates because I would run over the dumb who though it a good idea to block me in. If that wasnt enough to get away from the mass of people, shame on the first few who made it to my doors and windows.
