Fearless Bikers Vs Feared Range Rover?

Who do you think is at fault here?

I see a buncha squids that are asking to be ran over.

According to this article, one of the riders died but it doesnt sound like they're that sure? what?

Biker's fault. I could have my family with me, biker just punched my window, tried to open the door, is yelling at me, who is to say his safety/life is more valuable than mine or my familys?

Range Rover's Fault. Well they all seem like nice people, and I'm assuming all he wants to do is have a nice chat. But just incase I'll just wait in my car, cross my fingers and hope when my window breaks that they wont hurt me or my family.

Check out 6:10< in the video, range rover gets his window smashed in.

Why are they all at fault? Bikers left the guy in the range rover no choice.

The bikers were swarming all over him in the first place. I wonder what happened before the video started to make them feel they had to tangle with the RR. If he cut them off or whatever, they should have just flipped him the bird and continued on their ride. In the end, I dont think the RR had much choice in the matter. They were harrassing him, and then a mob mentality kept boxing him in. I'm sure he felt like he was in a dangerous situation, and had to get out.

The bikers think they own the road because they are in a big pack. The one that gets in front of the rover then slows down looks like he starts the whole thing when he gets bumped. I'm sure the person in the rover got scared and feared bodily harm when they were surrounded by all of the bikers. Online news says the driver had his wife and small child in the car. like this makes the motorcycle community look bad.

Thats one of the outcomes of brake checking someone. 50% chance of ........

Guess they could complain of being in fear for there safety. Surprised this isn't happening the last friday of every month in downtown.

I would of laughed my off if the RR did a hard brake check with them in tow. Just to check the use of the riders braking ability

Nobody was hurt. Which makes all the drama queen statements of the riders kind of stupid.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...reet-ride.html

What isn't being said by the riders is that yes, he bumped one of the riders who brake checked him. Stupid stupid move by the rider, but the RR then went to pull over. The riders were then beating on his vehicle, with his wife and child in the vehicle. He then plowed off. Still, nobody was hurt.

I call mass stupidity on the part of the riders. And since nobody was hurt, I find the video funny. as. .

Article I posted notes the annual event has now been canceled. They will run it anyway, I'm sure, because... well, because laws don't apply to them.

That's pretty much the problem.

Gotta follow that one see who ends up getting charged with what... I can't fault the RR based on the video... actually I think I'd have to give him props for restraint. ....and they possibly provided a nice video for justification of CC.

this. I've visited and rode in NYC, NJ area back in '03 or so. I did more inconsiderate riding in that week than I have in my 15 yrs of riding. Looking back at it, I am ashamed that I rode like that....but, I was young, 15 hours from home, had 3 friends that I was with and I wasn't getting left behind.

Bunch of squids....I'm sure there is more to the story. IF RR driver was smart, he woulda been on the phone with 911 while being intimated by those asshats.
