im going to buy a drz400sm i think i dont know what year to buy though, but from what i read these are the best since all i want to do is a bunch of wheelies, ride up/down staircases and just well dumb stuff ha and commute to work (about 1 hour drive) 30-40 mins if on bike. with this would be good if possible. save some money on gas and LANE SPLIT i can spend 3k-4k.. less i spend on this the more i can spend on my track baby.

what years do you recommend for the drz400sm? and any other models i should consider? I also want to make a cross country trip on one as well...3000 mile round trip on a bike, motard if possible

Not that we need to explain our actions but since we have obviously been under plenty of criticism lately I will go ahead and fill everyone in on Umayr's ban.

Umayr was originally banned for 3 days yesterday when everyone else was banned/infracted for posting nonsense in a for sale thread. The issue for Umayr was that he then spread it to other threads playing pitiful me and pretending like he was doing nothing but sending the OP a genuine offer. It was obnoxious.

Then Umayr created a fake username (the original poster in this thread). Some others have created AE's to be able to access the forum again after a temporary or permanent ban, clearly Umayr was only interested in furthering his post count as he posted 37 times over the next 23 hours, making it extremely clear it was an AE.

Umayr, since I'm sure you're reading this, here is where you went wrong:

1.) New users don't typically go straight for the PW thread
2.) When you registered your AE you put UMAYR as your referral
3.) The IP used to register your AE matched the same one Umayr used, nobody else
4.) You used a fake email for your registration

And my favorite:

5.) In the 2 minute window you had from when I lifted your 3 day ban to inflicting the 30 day ban you logged in under your original username and posted a welcome in your own AE's intro thread. Shameful.

So for anyone else in the same position, if you are going to attempt to come back during a ban, please don't make the same mistakes Umayr did.

And for what it's worth, Umayr has had over 15 previous infractions prior to yesterday.
