Houston Roads

Does anyone have any routes or series of roads that makes for a good ride? Im on Northwest side, so Katy to Woodlands would be ideal. I know Tomball has some alright roads I just always stumble on them and don't remember where they are. The little lady wants to go ride tonight, and I'm not familiar with the 'good' routes yet.

Best thing is to join a noob ride and pay attention to the route. You very likely may be left behind on a faster ride, especially if you don't know the roads at all.

Or google "Yankees tavern" and take as many twisty roads as you can on the way there.

You are probably safer withing the city limits at night. Deer are out early now that its cooling off. And most of the good roads in the NW area are atleast an hour out of Houston.
