That should look nice in that color, does this mean it's finally making it out to the track? Because I am nice I will let you paint my track fairings first as practice.

How does JB shoot? I've shot PPG's DBU and later DBC, which goes on nice and hides well. Also controls metallic flakes well. I like DBC because it uses regular DT reducers, not the funky DDR that DBU mixes with.

Have not kept up with the latest paint formulations though.

How reliable has yours been? Where is the power at? Or Drops off at?
If you want to track a 1000 you dont want a r1. Its weak compared to the other 1000's, handles well though. Shoot me a pm

JB shoots just like DB. Not quite as deep and takes more coats if you want the same finish, but for a race bike the cheaper JB is a great paint. At the price it lured me away from Dupont for the cheaper jobs. Reducers are all the same.

Haven't used flex additives in almost any job in a long time, just hasn't been necessary and it's been sitting in the cabinet unused, especially in the primer.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I was surprised to hear flex additive. Last time I used it was back in the early 90's, when I was shooting DuPont Centari on soft "body kit" plastics. Most urethane clears these days use good resins that don't need FA.

For cheaper paint, I've used Sherwin Williams 4th Dimension with good results. It doesn't color-match some metallics quite as well as DB, but that's only a problem if you are doing spot repairs. For an overall job that matters little.
