Wow, great move by Yamaha.

I'll take the low-sided one for $4K, whoever makes that first mistake

But but all the cool kids have bikes with fairings and adjustable suspension. I cant have a bike with less than 180hp. How else will I make up for my lack of corner speed?

I'm considering this bike as my next toy depending on it's physical size. It looks small, and I'm not.

They've had my attention since before it was announced to come to the US.

Would LOVE to replace my commuter 650r with one. But I'm cheap... so used market only. I won't pay twice the cost of a low mileage Sv650 for one... unless I ride it and it IS amazing.

I'll keep the Buell for the fun weekends.

$9,399 vs $7,990?
$1400 extra just to get ABS and less hp/tq?

I don't see it and I love the 675R.

^ that.
I liked the Street Triple... until this came along.
The prices on the street triples are higher, and RARELY do you see one used for much less than a new one.

I still like the Street Triple better, but not THAT much better.

Looks like a great bike, except for the highlighted weakness: brakes and squishy suspension. I might buy one if things look good financially in the next year.

yeah... a Triple "R6" has been a rumor for a while... and a rumor I full expect to capitalize on if it turns out it is true.
