Off-Road Sportster- Dual Sport

I like this bike. Weights a bit more than I would like for an off-road bike but still I would like this bike. This would be a torquey beast.

They write: "Thank you for all the interest and inquiries about the SC3 Adventure. We are developing the business model now to be able to sell SC3 Adventure Conversions. "

I translate: "We're just a couple of broke gearheads with a harley dream that will never profit us enough to keep doing what we love so enjoy this pic of the one bike we were able to make in dad's garage".

I mean, really, who needs a Harley motor when so many other superior, more compact, more reliable, light weight, and fit for purpose powerplants exist already?

Yah I can't see the advantage to this.

They rebuilt the entire bike around an old heavy motor. Didn't have enough expertise to build their own powerplant I suppose.

For the record, harleys have had a very storied past which included heavy (no pun) military use, which included off-road.

So it is not a stretch to see this type of bike.
Will the company be successful who knows. I personally think it is a nice build and not much different than converting a cb750 into a cafe racer. As I say to each their own.

To the complainers: motorcycles are an inefficient and impractical pastime. Adding a little more inefficiency and impracticability is not necessarily bad.

This is a cool bike, and it looks like fun.

Someone put on some Johnny Cash "I got it one piece at a time...". lol. It looks like it would be a fun ride.
