man, I dont know how much longer I will be able to get a leg over a bike, so this is a tough one. A Connie sounds like a great old man bike. I might need a Spyder soon, or even a Tmax, if I cant lift my leg.

Having a beat up old body sucks. LOL. Arthritis has been kiling me on these rainy days.

Any bike that was completely sponsored. I didn't have to pay a dime out of pocket to keep it running. Lol.

I think it would have to be a naked bike for me. The comfortable seating position and good useable power. Not saying it's my Speed Triple because I haven't ridden every bike but the S3 is up there. It does everything relatively well but I imagine I'd be pretty thrilled with a Multistrada or the 1190 Adventure for my only bike as well.

I agree on this too. A busa can do everything from 1/4 mile to trackdays to 2 up sport touring with bags. I loved my 2002 black and blue. Just never rode it cause I got addicted to track about the same time.

FJR 1300. It has been nothing but a hoot the last 98,750 miles.

2400 mile ride last week out to Kentucky via Missouri where I joined another FJR rider and we rode the out of Kentucky, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee.

Rode The Snake (US 421) and The Dragon (US 129) along with the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Cherohola Skyway.

I have been on so many roads with mile after mile of 20 mph curves and 10 mph decreasing radius corner I got tired of them.

, I am having withdrawals.

While there are quite a few bikes I'd like to have for a specific purpose, my Venture does everything well enough that I'd be fine with it for the foreseeable future. It will likely need a top-end rebuild soon (over 100k now), and when I do that I'm going to do the vmax head/cam/tci/vboost upgrade. Once that's done, I can't really think of anything that would be a better all-around bike for me. It's comfortable, already has plenty of power and storage, it's a great daily and long distance bike, and except for the weight when loaded down, even does well enough on dirt roads.
