Can you give more info on what location of Conroe it was stolen from? Was it outside at an apartment complex? I'm also in Conroe so trying to be cautious here.

Sorry for the lost man. I garage my bike everyday, only time it's not in the garage is when I'm riding. Hopefully you'll find another.

Good to hear! Out of curiosity....Who found it and what condition is it in?

buy that back from the insurance. Is there other frame damage or is it just damaged where they broke the steering lock?

Niiiice. Congratulations on getting closure on ur stolen bike but i reckon it was stolen on 9/21/13. Ur insurance paid u out already haven't they? And now theyre just telling u about the details? Im not sure but i heard they pay out ~2 weeks after u report it.

How much is lojack? Flat fee or a monthly thing?

I actually got the details before they had even paid me out, but from a detective, not the insurance company. I had to wait about a month or so before I got a check from the insurance company.

I'm not sure what all was damaged frame wise but I didn't look into buying it back. Motorcycle Unlimited said it was a total loss and that they had really screwed it up, but I never got a list of everything that needed to be repaired.

It was found by two people (kind of), there was a police officer that originally located it and a former police officer or something that now works with LoJack who showed up later on at some point.

The LoJack was a flat fee, I don't remember the cost, but I had it installed by the dealer when I first purchased the motorcycle.

If he is found guilty, at that point I think I can try and get some money for deductible and such that was taken out from what the insurance paid me.

I did have theft insurance so I can only assume that the insurance company will be taking care of everything.
Good on you for having lojack. Hope karma catches up with the thief.
