Just remember not to leave the gun under the seat in you bike, kind of like your truck

Better idea: find an area of road the has a stop sign/tree spaced about 100 yards apart. tie steel cable to both trees/ signs. Put a beater bike in between that you wont mind getting damaged.

you grab the bitter end of the cable while a buddy grabs the other.
get a cooler full of beer each and some 2 -way radios, start the bike up, hide and wait(may take a while depending on what part of town you're in)

When the thief hops on the bike, surely he is going to take off like a bat out of . As they approach the slack cable laying in the road, take off running with it in your hand to pull the slack out of it and clothesline that !

then you can run up and beat the out of them.

it's a lot more fun than shooting them and you won't have to hire any attorneys or explain your multiple comments on social media sites about intentionally setting up situations that will justify shooting someone.

I mean come on fastola, you've got to be more creative than just shooting them!

When you beat the out of this guy; be sure to add some kind of edge to it...dress up in orange jumpsuits like clockwork orange or something. it adds a kind of super hero/vigilante like touch. he can go back to his bike stealing buddies and tell them to beware of the bogey men in orange suits.

after you kick their , throw in some catchy signature trademark phrase, too.

Bait car makes people think twice before driving off in my running car. I have a dead battery, gotta jump the truck to drive it half the time. Left it idling at the bank for 10 minutes yesterday. If a poor innocent kid just happened to think it was OK to joy ride it...where would I be today? The victim of a crime. I left it running and unlocked...still not my fault. Thanks Bait Car, for making people think.

It's not the severity of punishment that stops the criminal, it's the certainty.

I agree with you because 10-13 year olds make good decisions.

Who cares how old they are for sake, a thief is a thief is a thief regardless of age, and as far as youngins go, maybe they will learn a valuable lesson since younger folks are more impressionable than older twit thieves...

Sounds like someone was a thief in their youth and is trying to convince himself it's OK cause he was young, IT ISN'T!!!

If you need some really, really good ammo I can make you some. I have been reloading for years. I hand roll some pretty mean 10mm rounds.

Could always just chop their hands off. Works for the [redacted] (Islamic cultures in the middle East).

I would just set up a controllable fuel leak in the neighborhood of the crotch and a igniter.

So first he gets fuel on his junk, then when you light it off he will get shocked, then a nice little fire.

I don't think the person would be stealing bikes anymore.

That's why we are careful about breaking the law of gravity. The punishment is instant, certain and severe.
If only we could make other laws the same, crime would virtually disappear.
