Thumbs down electrical problems 2007 gsxr 750 battery dead

having electrical problems blowing my main fuse wothout even turning the bike on before that i ise to turn on the bike with battery charge then turn it off and its conpletely dead again

I'm no sportbike mechanic but.. Maybe a rec/reg or maybe stator? Check for burnt/pinched wires first.

If your blowing ignition fuse my guess is the voltage rectifier/regulator and they are around $100. Have you by chance "jump started" the bike before these problems showed?

^^THIS^^ I have the same bike and already replaced the rec/reg 2 times and the stator once. I would go ahead and replace the battery as well...

With 06/07 GSXR's, that's usually the problem.

Just like everybody else stated, I'd check the plugs for stator and rectifier and make sure they're not melted and shorting the pins together.

I would suspect the rectifier regulator first.

yep, i had the same problem before....had to change the rectifier after mine caught fire.
