As cool as that would be, I doubt they would allow it due to the track being quite narrow in some places with zero run off anywhere.

ohh, and it's pretty darn bumpy as well, I remember the drivers complaining about how bad the track was tearing up their cars last year.

so is the isle of Mann but there is never a shortage of people willing to race it. i was there last year and in champ car the drivers were passing on the outside around the turns. Right at the wall but **** it it's racing.

by the way the champ cars are way faster than the bike would be and they let them run there with all the said dangers.

Trust me, I'd love to see it, but I just can't see them ever allowing it. Ohh, and I'd say the champ cars have a bit more protection than a motorcycle hitting a concrete wall, would'nt you?

My wife ... then girlfriend ... worked for Texaco and would get me tickets to the Long Beach Grand Prix, Laguna Seca and Fontana every year when I used to live in California ... man I love open wheel racing.

She works for Shell now ... so no more tickets ... oh well.

just saying isle of mann is way more dangerous than that course and is raced every year. everyone knows the implied daner i'm sure and as a exhibition event i gurantee you wouldn't see any "on the edge racing". I would personally rather hit a wall than go off a cliff if i had to choose of course.
