Great Footage ... like the speed and track data. I wish I would have watched something like this before I went to the track. I could have pushed my little 300 way more than I did on certain corners. Its a good reference to the amount of speed I can carry going into the corners (with good body position). It was rough as I was using just my front brake for the first time so I blew Diamonds Edge one time (instructor towing me in) and the Bus Stop twice (stayed on track on each time thankfully).

Thanks for sharing .. just makes me want to get out there again like right now lol

Lemme ride your 300 for a session! I was the only 250 in Level 2 during those two days...

Does Redford ever fall when he runs off? I've seen the guy handle a 3 foot drop off the road onto rocks below and ride it out. He's like a cat with bad eyesight.

Good thing there wasn't a small pond out there too.

I believe he should have the nickname Webble Wobble from this day forward. Anyone industrious enough to change his user ID?

cool vid's what software are you using to datalog and to put everything together.

One more thing your... use the mirror function on the video from the rear. It looks as if your turning right when you turning left. and vice versa.

Thanks.

I'm using Dashware to overlay the track/timing data on the video. (The GPS data downloaded from my AIM Solo GPS timer is uploaded into Dashware and it creates the track and gauges.)

I'm using Sony Movie Studio to composite the video tracks together.

The inset rear view looks funny if I don't flip it so it looks like a true rear-view mirror. (I do leave the image unflipped if I do a side-by-side composite, though.)

Great tool to learn the race line. I'm going email Dave from RM to suggest they use this form it in their track videos.
