+1 Good advice there Mah Man. Just get to know your bike first then it will open doors to other oppurtunities. Stunting, trackdays or just normal group riding....

Welcome to MH and enjoy your stay....

It went really well actually. It helped me practice what I already knew really, and I got to ride the 250 there. Instructors were awesome, they said I was a natural.

I see I see. My argument right now is that the 250 will get 50-70mpg for like $7. Which is like 200 miles maybe? Where my truck gets like 10-15mpg and only goes like 250miles for $40. I mean, come on now haha

Welcome

Good choice of bike IMO for someone your age just starting out. Looks like you're doing things the right way.

Wear your gear, and that means helmet as well as jacket and gloves minimum.

My thoughts exactly...

Truck 10mpg, $50+ to fill up

Bike 35+mpg, $8 to fill up
