Riding Buddy Rulz

Ok so Wednesday me an another MH rider went up to the forest and made a run before it got hot. On the way back we hit 45s @ 1488 to come back to Spring. We were riding over posted and I was trying to get his attention because that spot is hot but before I got the chance I was looking at Montgomery County Constable Truck on my right blipping his siren at me so I slowed down. The guy I was riding with didnt see him and made a quick lane change and he lit him up.

Ok so there is the story ... I ride with all my (license , insurance inspection) he got pulled over I exited and went down the road a bit and stopped to wait.

What is the protocol here .. do you pull over with your buddy or what I did so only one of you gets a ticket. I am just curious cause I dont want to be accused of being a DB one day if I am out riding with someone and it happens again. Buddy was cool with it ... only got a warning for unsafe lane change and the cop told him he could not clock us because we were moving through traffic but cop said he did not mess with me cause I slowed down.

Ask the Alvin 21. There were a few at the back that did not commit the offense that the rest of the group was pulled over for, but stopped with the group anyway. At least one of those guys got popped for riding dirty. I know, because I had to haul his bike home to keep him out of jail. I'm not going to run, but if a cop passes me to light up someone else in the group I'll stop further down the road and not where the traffic stop occurs.

Every man or himself. Some groups who ride a lot will split a ticket for the guilty one.

Long time friend I would pull over down the way a bit for sure. Some from MH yeah I would still do the same. In either instance I would not sit all out in the open just in case the cop wanted to come pass out another ticket.

do not pull over where the cop is....some cops do not like that at all, it makes them nervous. go down the road a bit and wait.

6- Don't be a snitch and drop names, you're always riding solo and just happened to see those guys at that part and moment of the road.

There was one that dropped two and disappeared. He called me from down the road and said, and I quote, SUCKAH!!!

Appreciate the feedback .. just was not sure of the protocol...I mean it seems like a no brainer ... move on and meet up later why get a ticket if you dont have too. Just wanted to make sure it was not a DB move to bail on your partner.

I believe in every man for himself, as well.

However, on RR..I was riding with a buddy, I was leading, he was behind. Cop turned on his sirens. Buddy pulled over, I went up a little bit n pulled over but it was after the curve. The cop radio-ed another cop to get me..and found me on side shoulder of road. He said I didnt pull over for the other cop.
What the frebreezy. First time I heard of that.
In a case that a cop pulls in front of the group and tells us all to pull over yea..but not like that. Each leo is different. Ima have to ask one. Ill go walk the halls n find a hpd and a sheriff n see whats the law.
