Question Kawasaki Concurs 14: Cruiser or Sportbike

Just wondering what everyone's opinion regarding the Concurs 14.

Is it a cruiser, sportbike, or something else?

Way too big and heavy to be a sportbike, way too fast to be a cruiser.

Were you thinking about getting one? Sport touring, in the same category as the Yamaha FJR, Honda ST1300, BMW K1300.

Judging from the questions you asked, you really must be new.

There is a whole lot more to motorcycling than sportbikes and cruisers. Check out sites like Sport-touring.net, ADVrider.com, and twtex.com. A bike is whatever you choose to regard and do with it. Sport touring is a state of mind, as much as it is a category of bikes. Folks do it on anything from a Panigale to a 300cc scooter.

C14 could possibly make a good second bike for you in a few years. A middleweight first might be a better choice. I love my '09 the yr or so I rode it.

I was unaware that 1400GTR was the same thing. Thanks for the heads up, though.
