Need help with YZ 250

I just bought an older YZ 250 and it came with its problems !!! I can work on most of it myself but there always seems to be those neat little tip that aren't in the books. I was wondering if anyone out there might be willing to give up a few of those.

1. How hard is it to change the fork seals? And at what point do you need to change them? (they ARE leaking)
2. Clutch will not release when you pull the lever, not even if you manually turn the clutch actuator rod. Is this just worn plates or something broken?
3. Good motorcycle junkyard with early to mid 90's dirtbikes?

Thanks guys,

COONASS

Re: Need help with YZ 250

on that clutch it might be that the wire is so stressed out that you have to get a new one it could have some lag in it thats why it could be giving you that problem

Re: Need help with YZ 250

Thats the plan, except it looks pretty right now. Need to clean it up and fix a few areas first.
