I'd love to learn TIG (self-taught MIG, with the help of youtube and forums), I just haven't brought myself to spend the money on a capable box yet.

HAHA! I had a feeling someone would say something like that lol. Thanks though, i've just had my fair share of hacking things as a kid and luckily i've learned early on that shortcuts will bite you in the .
