I'm not gonna lie, riding for about 30-45 minutes in a field was pretty tiring.

It was fun but my hands started hurting pretty quick lol

Yeah it will wear your out. I could ride trails for quite a while but it would kick my . I went to the mx track for the first time about two months ago and got embarrassed by how fast I got tired. It gave me the kick in the to get in good shape again. Hurt myself on that outing but now that I'm better I started working out 4 nights a week and heavy cardio until I almost puke 3 days a week. Cut my smoking in half for the last couple weeks and quit entirely over the weekend. It was the first time in a while that I felt like my body wasn't capable of something I really wanted to do. I did not like that at all.

When I would race rallies, I would ride 5 days prior, 8-10 hours a day.
Day 2 I was stiff at worse, by day 4 I could go out for 5 of those hours....straight.

If I was going to run the Baja 1000/500 I would train 7-9 days prior and be able to do 250 miles non stop except for fuel.

Off road riding is better than any gym. A true whole body workout.

I need to find or help organize a TX rally series.
