Depends on a lot of things.
What kind of riding street or dirt?
Track or commuting?
Traction or high mileage?
What size tire?
What kind of bike?

does the 3.14 pounds hold true for everything like from minibike tires all the way to the space shuttle?

and welcome to the nuthouse Light!

seriously, lots of factors determine optimum tire pressure.
Give some more information on the bike, intended use, and your weight might affect it too....

There's this thing called a swing arm. There should be a sticker on it. On this sticker are magic numbers. Follow the magic numbers.

swing arm isnt always going to be true... but i usually run about 34-36 on my street bike 929rr. if i was going to go on track 30-32 for like lets s20's or q2's psi but then again it depends on the tire. My suggestion would be to call one of the sponsors and ask real quick, im sure they wouldnt mind answering a easy quick question like that for you. Just know what tire and bike you got.

These responses are hilarious.

I'd say just go with the swingarm pressures.
