did you make a little trap like i said?

At least leave a little romaine out for him to munch on. You can also see if anything has eaten the lettuse, that way you know the little guy is alive.

Yea i put 6 flat bowls with water, some blood worms & lettuce in different locations of the house.

For some reason - my mom is also missing some $$$, so now all of a sudden i wanna believe someone took him or is playing a joke with me rather then him getting out.

This is frustrating coz the only people living in my APT are me, mom and bro. And only my bro and I touch the turtles, my mom never touches the turtles.

I told my bro i want him to find the lil lost turtle or i'm gonna throw his Zune in the turtle tank - so he's looking like crazy.

Who could it be?

Have you found him yet, widow? if it makes you feel any better I once lost one of my box turtles in my house for a month and a half...then he popped up in my room one night. he was REALLY dehydrated but alive. they're remarkable reptiles and can survive all sorts of BS. Now when ever they run around large areas of the house/ my backyard i usually tie a long brightly colored ribbon or something around their shell. I've thought about using one of those key finder things but Im too lazy to buy one. Anyways, have you tried using mealworms instead of bloodworms?

UPDATE! UPDATE!

I found my lil turtle :confused2

When i woke up today, i heard a very faint scratching sound - so i quickly got up and looked from where the sound was coming. It turned out it was "one of my baby turtles" that was scratching a fedex box which was near me.

So i'm thinking to myself, "WoW - how did this turtle get out of the tank" So i pick him up and put him back in the tank, but as soon as i did that and started counting, i realized - it was'nt one of my other turtles that got out but rather it was LiL Mikey the one that got out last week!

He managed to stay alive and finally figure his way home and wake me up. He was dehydrated and seemed very weak. I put him in water slowly, and took him out slowly - so his body would get used to it and he would suffer an attack of some sort. Fed him blood worms and he seems better now.

Let's hope he survives the next couple of hours

Thank you all for the warm wishes and experiences you have shared.

I found him! Back to 4 baby turtles and 1 big one.

Well it was black & white before, but i was told by some reptile collectors that the dull & dark colors make them depressed, so i went with ultra gay bright colors.

Now i guess there soo happy they keep on jumping out!
