I can send Kelly over to find it for you. I am willing to bet 5 minutes tops and she'll have it in her mouth.

when i think "****ed up big time" i think 5 year trip to Brazil. but losing a turtle? c'mon..
j/k. i hope you find it, i've lost various creatures in my house and it's never fun finding them. is it a red eared slider? you might try putting some trays w/ water in them out for it to get in or something. i'd try kingsnake.com forums with these sort of questions.

Don't feel bad, I had an ex, 'release' my Red Tail Boa...in our garage apt,
To 'get the mouse'...

Somewhat, luckily...depending on how you look at it, a neighbor down the road found it. Luckily he found it, unfortunately he was in his car, going down the street and thought it was a large coppherhead.

Obviously the ex wasn't around for very long.

Dude all the babies are like the size of a "quarter" - and not some Asian Big Quarter, but your regular American Dollar Turtle :laughing6 . So they are small - they can't even open their mouth wide enough to eat their own food.

Update is that, the turtle that got out is still MIA. I again today left out all the others (all 4 - 3 babies and 1 adult) out to go search for him.

So now you'll come back to 1 adult turtle and 4 lost babies. That makes no sense to let the other 3 babies out! (Just my opinion).

I'm oberving them to see where they go..hoping the other one might come out or they might lead me to him.

Its not like they are being left unattented. :eh:

And before you ask how i lost that one, it jumped out..they pretty much all cheerleader still made a pile with their bodies and this one got out..

I've seen them practice before - but always thought they were jus cold or sleeping like that - now i know what they were upto :confused2
