So its OK for us (riders) to assume that all cops are lazy, bike-hating, power hungry morons.

But we sure don't like it when cops make assumptions about us, DO WE?!

And now, because of a few bad cops, and a few -clown riders, we all hate each other! Does that not strike you as stupid?!

Yep, they've been on the south loop fairly regular lately. I've been lucky a few times.

What is with the dozens of tow truck on standby all over the roads everyday? They cause more traffic then the accidents. I'm new to the area so I've never seen some of this stupidity

The ad campanin should be get off or get over. No need to make exusses for bad drivers, thats easier for us to agree on sure, but there are many good drivers too. : )

The problem is a drivers license has become a gov issued ID card and not taken seriously as a drivers license. If you can't be educated, for whatever reason, than can't drive simple.

If you give out licenses as ID cards then everyone is licensed to drive...

I'm sure you want to believe that those people cower in the face of police. I'm sure they don't though.

... Shoulda read this earlier. Got my first ticket in like 10 yrs today on I10 around energy corridor. I was in my car, he said I was doing 82 in a 65. Let me go with a $200 ticket and lowered it to 74/65. Within 2 minutes of leaving me, he already had someone else pulled over.

Every talker I've met has openly talked to cops. Not exactly smart but they don't care because Sensitive Sally can make something up to burn you or get her friends to harass you. So I raise my glass to them because they are brave.

Hah, this usually means "I have no idea how fast you were going, but it looked like you were speeding. So I'm just going to make up a really high number, and then tell you that I'm going to write you up for a lower speed, so you won't and wine too much. Have a good day and drive safe sir!"
