Bike pricing.

Ahh. Getting into the sportsbike scene. I had a kawasaki ninja that was given to me, but then sold for personal reasons.

I will be looking to spend around 2.5 - 3k on a bike preferably a 600. Don't care what model. But will it be possible and will the bike be decent?

Sure it's possible. You'll probably be looking in the late 90's/early 2000's for something in decent shape in that price range.

When looking in that price range, dont get hung up on cosmetics. Get a mechanically sound bike with a little rash rather than a pretty bike with 60,000 miles.

My friend just bought a 2007 600 gsxr for 3000, I bought a 05 r6 for 2200 and you can def find one for 3k. It's def going to require a lot of patience for that type of pricing though but it can be done

Yeah, if you look at CL now they got a'lot of pretty bikes for cheap.

ex. CBR 600 street fighter for 3k, and a 750 gsxr for 2800 okay miles and decent shape.

If you find a bike with no title you can get a bonded title if VIN is clean. It's not that much more for a bonded title

YOU SIR! Are awesome! Thanks for these listings I will check them out. But I am not willing to drive all the way to Austin. Love bikes with a passion but I just don't have the money to drive that far :/

you bet, it really all depends on what you want. there are many things you can want and still get to your 3k budget max. Think about lots of stuff though. do you want up right seating? do you mind bannana seats? ( single long seat ), would you rather have full fairing or not full fairing? what year range? what type of skyle do you like, cruiser, sport, dual sport kinda thing , i'd figure out what you want, then find something for a price you can afford. what will end up happening is you will end up with a bike you " settled " on, and after about a month, you will wish you just looked around, and you will either A, stop riding, or B, try to sell it, and start all over again. without even looking at prices, think about what you want

Lol, you wouldn't have the money to drive ALL THE WAY to Austin if you found a bike there that you wanted?

, I flew to Ohio to buy a truck and drove it back.
