Yeah so getting my first bike this month, never rid a motorcycle. It is going to be a 600 supersport. UH OH! Going to hop on my dads 250 next weekend ride around for a bit, take that MSF course and see just how confident (confident I can keep it within my limits) I am on a bike. If I have issues I'll get the 650r instead.

the 250 isn't going to be keeping it's resale value like it used to. It's going to go down, the 300 is going to start dominating. It's not that much more, it's more stylish, and it's going to be the guy who keeps it's resale. If your going to / set on a 250 ish, get the 300. The cb500F is also pretty cheap, and decent on the throttle :!)
