I have to ask... what is up with the beak? Every adventure bike has it... and a front fender. Is it just a styling convention, or is there some function? Bugs me, to my eyes it's just fugly.

There are some electronics housed under here along with the horn. ....but honestly, that is just the look of an adventure bike.

Went really well. I decided I need a few things for future camping trips off the bike. I need a more compact sleeping bag, more compact tent and a few other goodies.
