NW side-Monday Night Meets-Discussion thread

Morning all, first off I wasn't going to post a thread for this coming Monday due to the holiday weekend.

If there is enough interest though we can still do it and I will get the parking, so if you still want to come out to Sherlocks post it.

I want to see how many people are interested in Monday night football and would come out regularly to watch the games each week if we moved to another venue.

I attended the very first meet but haven't had the chance to go back, but really looking forward. This next Monday will be out of town, but I would attend MNF or even a Sunday night. Game, thanks for doing these Trooper, keep 'em up!

Only ones I know in the area that might work are Fox & Hound, Gearheads, possibly Crazy Frog. BW3 would be perfect, but the parking situation sucks.

I'm down for gearheads as that's my neighbor and would rather give my money to a local business owner.

I'm down for Monday night. I'll be at F&H on Saturday night with my alumni group and I'll talk to the manager there. They have always taken care of us and even have reserved tables during busy times.

Monday night football is awesome.

A venue suggestion is Wolfies in Cypress. They have good game viewing and indoor smoking; however, they have enough ventilation whhere non smokers dont die and smell like smoke.
Just an alternate venue...little further than the norm but just a suggestion.

Wolfies on 1960 is GHETTTTTTTO thanks to good old hurricane Katrina!

For many I think the main concern is parking. Nobody wants to go to a place and have the bikes out of view. That's what has been so nice about Sherlocks, they work with us but for game night I don't think it's a very good spot.

Gearheads would be awesome if they can reserve parking, f&h has enough room and plenty of tv's so I'll be checking with them.

I'll check out Wolfies too Blanco, thanks for the tip.

I had to phone a friend....lol

The one I was referring to is about 8 months old and is located at Barker Cypress and 290 right next to Randalls in the shopping center.

My friend and neighbor just told me that he has been to the Spring Cypress on several occasions and its pretty good as well. I have not personally set foot in that one...just the Barker/290 location that is not on the Wolfie's website?
