I dont think you can call those types riders....maybe "users" or "experimenters" or some .

Grrr... I won't lane split so you won't either. Those are "riders" who I really couldn't be arsed if they get hit by a bus.

P.S. I'm not saying they deserve to either.

I lane split when traffic is at a dead stop, and its 105F outside! Cagers will never understand how hot it is to sit at a dead stop for 5 minutes, while they enjoy their ac.

I have had cars honk at me but never attempt to take me out, I just rev the out of my bike and keep going when I get honked at.

2 weeks ago I was on my way home riding down Voss and traffic was backed up all the way from Memorial Dr. to San Felipe. Stop light was out at San Felipe. I could have easily been sitting in that small stretch of road for 20-25 min. I took the 7 min route instead, nobody seemed to mind. I avoid traffic at all costs on the bike, but if I happen to get mixed up in some really slow stuff, I'll split lanes at a safe speed.

Shame it's not legal in Texas and other states, while it's very effective all over the world, and in Cali.

Makes me thankful I work out in the Gulf of Mexico away from all that mess. When I'm home I never drive during traffic hours.
