Re: 1 piece suit help

i got my suit yesterday, agv laser 1 piece $295 shipped, decent for the money, hopefully it hold ups good.

only con about it is no tailbone protection, i really want tailbone protection as first hand experience going down and hitting that hurts. but i got it covered anyways with a tpro forcefield short.

Re: 1 piece suit help

still havent gotten mine yet. going to go to cyclegear and eximport to check for my size and fitting. then im going to get it from where u got it for. doesnt make sense to get just alpine star track pants that zip onto my jacket for 250 when i can get a whole 1 piece suit for 300.

Re: 1 piece suit help

every suit manufacturer makes them to a different size,,, a 40 in teknic is too big for me, but a 40 in gerick isnt too big for me, so just be carefull...

Re: 1 piece suit help

the frank thomas one at cycle gear actually feels more comfortable or maybe im mistaken since i tried it on and took it off compare to riding around in my agv suit. some cons of my agv laser suit.

back of neck collar isnt leather, some type of flexible cloth/kevler? should had made the whole collar leather. makes my neck itchy. perforation is plenty for houston summer, but u can see the quality difference between astar and agv. the perforation is punched, but not all the wholes are punch completly through, so u will have a few holes blocked that needs to be manually punched out with toothpick if u feel the need to, i did not.

other than that its a great suit for the money. armor CE approved level 1 armor in shoulder, elbow, knee, and back(doubt the back is CE approved but the rest are) and no tailbone protection, but soft foam around the thigh.

if u get this suit, make sure to remind them about the knee sliders, they forgot or took mine off, i called them and they are shipping them to me since it is suppose to come with them, as stated by the manufacture. i suggest u order them now if u want this suit. takes 10-12 days from the day ordered to arrive.
