Bump - I'll be out there again around 8-ish.
If you want dinner before coffee, get there before 8 and visit the deli at the opposite end.

Is the deli still open? OR did they change names?

Yeah, it changed from a franchise of NY Deli to just "Uptown Deli" with a new menu. Some pretty good stuff, and Amy over at Doubleshots doesn't mind at all that we bring the food over to the coffee shop.

Tonight we even celebrated Bryan & Mollie's anniversary with triple chocolate cake! :icon_bigg

The Busa is just pure power, but it takes a lot more effort to get it to respond to subtle cues. It felt... bloated.

The 1000 that I'd ridden two weeks prior (the yellow one) was very similar, although I wasn't as afraid of it for some reason. Similar feel in turns but a little less resistant.

The 750 was smooooooth. It responded the best to small movements up front and I didn't feel like I had to 'struggle' with it like the others. Granted, I'm coming off a bike with wide bars instead of clip-ons, but it reminded me the most of how it felt to ride my SVS.

The KLR650 - now THAT was a nice bike to ride, and the cheapest of the bunch! I'm still keeping my eyes open for a dirtbike/small dualsport that's under $1k to satisfy my craving to get dirty.

We'll be there again tonight.

(Hey Mods - any chance this can be stickied since it's every Monday?)

Guess not.

I won't rub it in TOO much, but a handful of the Monday night regulars will be out riding in the Hill Country this weekend so someone else needs to bump this on Sunday or Monday...

We should be rolling back into town in time to come and say hello!
