Can you ride dirt bikes on Crystal Beach?

Heading to a beach house tomorrow and wondering if I should bring the bike. Read they allow ATVs but not seeing anything on dirt bikes. I assume it would be okay and to be honest would ride even if it wasn't. Just want to know how far I should stray away from the house. Would hate if they made me walk it back and I was two miles away.

I went about a month ago and didn't see any dirt bikes. I was wondering the same thing, but I imagine if you don't speed everything is fine. There is a lot of young people running around so safety is what everyone is looking out for. Let us know how it turns out...When I went, the waves were about a foot high and it sucked playing in the water. And catching the ferry took forever....I was on the road that day more than at the beach...LOL...

The beaches there are considered state roads so if you are plated you can buy a sticker to drive on the beach. Non plated bikes aren't allowed.

Sucks...

But as of last summer they now allow ATVs and side by sides that are not plated, you just can't be on the roads with them and have to trailer them to the beach. Says so on their website but doesn't specifically mention dirt bikes.

...which means 15-20mph speed limits too.

I've debated taking the Banshee down there a few times (to various beaches).... but it's NO fun to just cruise.

Also... I may be wrong, but I think a dirt bike IS an ATV... do they say OHV?

The sticker is to park on the beach. You don't have to have it to drive on the beach.

my buddy takes his 4 seater razor down there .. he has to have safety and stuff on his .. but I would imagine blinkers, brake lights etc would make you good since they allow 4 wheelers.

There were tons of bikes on the beach down there. Mostly at dusk when the beach emptied out and early in the morning. Unfortunately, my kickstarter is broken so I couldn't get it started.
