2013 ZX-14R Limiter removal?

Getting close to warranty expiration on my '13 zx14 and am wanting to get the top speed limiter removed. All aftermarket "piggybacks" (speedohealer, bonneville... etc.) I have looked into will not work with models newer than '11. Brocks seems to be the most reliable offer on flashing but i would like to avoid pulling the ecu if possible due to numerous horror stories I have heard/read about fried ecu after flashing, plus I really don't want all of the mods done that brocks does in their flash mainly because i dont want to have to convert to their exhaust system, i like the TBR system i have right now, so that i can gain access to their dyno maps for PC to avoid running the bike lean. Any suggestions/advice on how to accomplish my goal of just removing or bypassing the limiter (without ghetto rigging the speed sensors), or if Brocks really is the best way to go any possitive feedback would be welcomed. THX!

Just one serious question for you....why?

If you are doing top speed runs at the texas mile or top speed track then u gotta pay to play and that two bros exhaust isnt what u need....also the two ways u stated are the only ways I know how to bypass the speedlimiter....

What is your end result? Is the limiter in your way now?

Brock's is totally legit.
I run Brock's pipe and PCV map. You get what you pay for there.
As for customer service.....sucks but their tuning is to notch.

If he is talking ECU flash, he may get on the fly traction control and power mode changes. That is the case on a ZX10.

Im with you. WTF do you want to go faster than 186?

Why not remove it ? That's a silly question. I doubt the bike has the power to do much more though. It takes around 200 hp to run 200. Removing the limiter doesn't just mean you are gonna run much faster.

Thanx for the constructive input. i think i'll probably go ahead a ditch the exhaust and go ahead with brocks and just do the full system, pc5, and flash all at once rather than piece the additions i'd been planning from different places. Will turn out to be a little more $$$ at once than originally planned but seems this will be the most efficient way to head in the direction I want to go with the bike. Oh and to answer that infamous Y? that kept popping up.... Yes there is a pretty good chance that some top speed runs at Texas Mile will be in this bikes future, that and cracking the 200 mark is just something on my personal accomplishments list that its worth the money to cross off, not going for glory or records... just something for me. Thanx again for the opinions.

For tuning. Woolich Racing and Guhl do ECU hacks to remove all of the restrictions..(speed, timing , throttle valve control)..

The 2013 ZX14s are monsters when unlocked and tuned....

Johnny Cheese is getting 200rwhp out of stock motor ZX14s with Brock CT systems on 93 oct.. That bike will go 200 mph in a mile no problem.. My 240lb buddy just trapped 150 mph on one in the 1/4.

Between the new 14s and new 10s, Kawi has really upped their game.

To clarify my post, use Guhl or Woolich for the ECU hack, and use Johnny Cheese to map the PCV after the ECU is hacked..

The final air/fuel tuning will be done by Johnny Cheese on the PCV.

For TX mile, go for it. 200MPH down there would be a great accomplishment.
