Yes I am hard core. I am still sleeping in the van.
Last time I slept in the cabins I woke up thinking I had my hand between two pillows and it was not two pillows. LOL Never again.

Now the weather says the weekend is going to be nice but Friday looks pretty chilly and wet for a street ride. We'll be able to tell for sure in a couple days. If Friday isn't great for a street ride maybe we should just take some dirtbikes. There are a few small motocross tracks with trails within an hour of where we are staying. If anyone doesn't have a dirtbike we can take turns on mine. You can't possibly wreck it more or worse than I do.

THIS TRIP IS A GO!!!!!!!
Weather looks like it will barely be a factor on Friday. The hill country will be right on the western boundary of the precip......so I am hoping it develops further east than expected and will keep us dry....temps Friday will be in the high 50s so dress accordingly....

Anybody have Unifiddy or MattL's number? May want to call to see if they are still going. I know Chad said he probably won't go so we'll have an empty cabin if Unifiddy and MattL don't show.

Speaking of the weather....pull up the forecasts for places further west like Leaky, Camp Wood and vanderpool.....just confirms its all east of where we will be riding

If it is going to rain at all it's only for one day. Worst case scenario, we can just spend a day bouncing around in Bandera. Bunch of fun little bars and places to eat there. It's only 20 minutes away.

Two questions:

1. Are you a bike mechanic?
2. Would you get fired if you didn't go?

If you answered yes to either question then you are a flake.

I know that but you are still a mechanic. It's like being white. Just because you moved to Mexico doesn't make you Hispanic.

Haha, I just picked up Nick's CRF230 motard. Gonna get some sprocket swapping tomorrow with my 150 so it should be able to cruise 75. Kris may be riding that bike. Kris is never bored.... that's why we keep him around.
