speeding ticket

So I finally got a speeding ticket on my bike. Been riding daily for three years so I don't think it took that long to get one.

Defensive driving is $25 but you can only take once a year(forgot how it worked on my ticket, but I think you also have to pay the ticket but is just wont show up for insurance.), a lawyer can possibly get the ticket dismissed so it does not add points to you ID. Also a lawyer will cost from $50+ but again you will save money in the long run because your insurance wont go up.

Ticket can be dismissed and not go on your record with DD. It's $25 PLUS court costs (even if dismissed) which for me is additional $110. Looking at $50-100 with a lawyer but I'm not sure if you still have to cover court costs. DD will also take 6-8 hours of your time but you don't have to go to court. Lawyer may or may not save time depending if you have to go in and miss work.

I got the ticket in college station. 76 in a 50 so I can't do defensive driving; just going to do deferred so it stays off my record. No need for a lawyer. lol

Meet with the city prosecutor, see if he will knock it down and let you take DD....

Prolly wont work if you were actually clocked 10+ miles over what you were written for.....
