I don't really keep track of miles.

I ride when I can.

I ride when I want.

I'll ride to work every now and then.

Ill do trackdays when I can.

Ill do hill country ides when I can.

Ill ride to meets when I can/want.

I rode all the time when I was young, single and no kids, because I was well... young, single and no kids.

Now I have a career, SO, kids, and while I'm far from old....things are different. lol

Priorities change your life and sounds like you have your priorities in order. There were a lot of things I used to do before I got domesticated. Every hour I spend riding or doing other things takes away from my time with the family.

I ride to save fuel. Nothing else. I do ride a lot because I love the savings.

This

I dont HAVE to ride for transportation any more, I still do sometimes.

I have more miles in dirt and on my fiddy in the last five years then street. When I was 20 years old I put 20K on my ninja in a a year or so. Priorities change, now my free time is spent riding with my son, and its way more enjoyable then freeway stand up wheelies.

When i was young there were years that i did not even own a car, I went on my bike or did not go...but years passed, I got married, had and raised kids...
now I live 6 miles from my office, I have 10 or so bikes and 3 trucks...
I live right in the middle of town and i hate city freeway traffic and i have to ride that to go anywhere. For me riding is not a "have to" it is a want to, so I ride when I want to...last couple of years it has either been in the dirt at my farm or at the track...how many miles i put on my bike at my pleasure is not something other folks should trouble themselves with, and if they do, then off.

Were buying a house with 3-5 acres so we can have a mini track, and training track for the kids. Nothing like having some freinds over and having enough bikes for some drunken circle track friday night racing action.

I had that in the first 6 months on my GSXR. I did 32K that year. Seriously, thats why I miss riding so much I guess.
