Why don't you ride? PERIOD!

all this talk about riding, and it's just that, talk. Many people talk the talk but don't walk the walk.

All this talk, then they're selling their 5yo bike w 10,000 mi = a whopping 2000mi a yr riding.

I looked at the first 6 street bikes in the F/S section, on avg 3000mi a yr

Is that really riding?

 kekeke

Guilty as charged! I bought my BMW 2 months ago and have put a whopping 300 miles on it, most of that showing up to meets and posing. I would like to blame that on the summer heat; but really not an excuse.

I've owned my bike for 37 months and have nearly 26,000 on the odometer. Is that enough to be considered a rider?

I don't own a street bike right now. It is on the agenda... I really wanted that 999 but... I decided to finish my trackbikes for the team. Last two months I have been healing from my Memorial Day incident so I haven't been at the track as much. So I just haven't been riding except for my dirtbike occasionally.

My old neighbor had a Harley that he had bought used. It was 3 years old, with 2000 miles on it when he bought it. 2 years later, he had ridden 225 miles. All the time making payments, and paying insurance on it.

WAY off topic...

I saw a Civic yesterday with this gaudy GTR body kit on it. I instantly thought of you. You would have loved this POS.

I swear, it looked JUST like a mini GTR.

OK..Almost.

Wait, a little.

Actually, it looked like a whole bunch of styrofoam pieces superglued on a Civic.

Riding is NOT my primary means of transportation.

I don't ride when it rains, or when it isn't convenient.

Leisure riding to work, and possibly school. I limit myself to riding only during the morning and afternoon.

This is how I am getting in my old age.

Coming up on a year with this bike (october), and I have put about 6500 miles on it.

Bought it as a 10 year old bike with 10k miles.

Why would I want to take my bike out if the garage and lower the value by putting alot of miles on it. That's just crazy talk.

Lack of free time
Wimp out in hot weather,

but rain doesn't bother me. Actually quite amazed at how well the Q2's grip in the rain.
I've averaged 475 miles/month since I bought my bike in Feb 2011.
