Has anyone actually verified that Kelly's Pond is open. The website still says it is closed for tree removal.

Just called, it is open.

Anybody got a set of tires that would fit a DRZ (18"/21") they want to cheaply part with? I put my dirt wheels back on last night and the back tire is pretty worn.

I do. Pirelli XCMH Dual Sport tires. 110/100-18 and 80/100-21 Rear is about 50% front about the same. Pulling them off tonight. $40?

Can you send me a pic? I'd like a little more tread if I'm going to sweat my @ss off putting them on.

I've totally lost track of who is going. If half the people that said they are coming actually come it will be a stupid big group riding through those trails. Had a couple drop outs that were bringing RVs so don't count on getting a spot. Bring a tent and/or sleeping bag just in case. Supposed to be in the 60's and dry at night so it will be really comfortable.

Plan on getting there around 9am. We aren't trying to beat the heat and have all weekend so we will take about an hour to get set up, hand out some high fives, and probably start riding around 10am. It will still be warm out but after riding in 100+ weather all summer 85-90 degrees will feel like fall weather.

There will be a big disparity in off road riding ability within the group so we will probably naturally split up into a few groups. Don't worry about being left behind or getting held up. Ride how you want and whoever is in front will stop periodically or when the trail forks.

If anyone is running late either post up on here or give me a call at ate tree tooo eight nyne too two eight 0 two and let us know so we don't leave without you for the first ride of the day.

I'm going but I'll probably be riding by the time you guys get there. A buddy and I are going to try to be riding by 8 so we can be done early and get home to do fun shlt like go to Home Depot and maybe Bed Bath & Beyond if we have time.

Just do a short loop and be back at Kelly's Pond around 9:45 and you can ride a bit more with the group and split off whenever you need to. Hopefully it's the wife who is forcing you, and you aren't going to Bed Bath and Beyond with your buddy. LOL.

Bed Bath and Beyond is awesome! They have a plethora of bath salts and their selection of loofas is crazy. It's like a little slice of heaven.
