The trails closed on Saturday because they got a couple of inches of rain on Friday. There is no rain in the forecast all week in Huntsville and they only got some sprinkles on Saturday but had an otherwise dry weekend. Hopefully they will be open by Friday. Fingers crossed.

Found a ton of stuff, probably not legal, but....well....its hard for me to follow the rules on a dirt bike

So WTF are we gonna create a rukus?

Sorry for being the killjoy or old fuddy duddy whatever but this is not cool at all! Plenty of groups have been lobbying for years to get these trails closed. This kind of irresponsible riding will just give them fuel for the fire and make it happen.

Only for the time, effort and expense of a small group working with the SHNF Rangers enables this area to be open for riding. This group and the voluntary responsible use of the trails by all riders and being a good steward of the forest. Actually we are a hair away from getting a grant to fund a couple new trails.

Ride the trails illegally and all this stops. Actions of a few could kill the effort for everybody and permanent. Once closed they will never reopen that's for sure.

Donations appreciated and time/labor/involvement appreciated even more.

Tried calling a couple times last week. I will probably drop it off Friday. It is all torn down and ready to be be yanked out of the frame. Dan is coming by tonight to give me a hand so my scrawny doesn't break anything pulling it out.

injured. may/may not be there. .

it's now difficult to tie my shoes and pick up my 25 lb kid...i will have to see closer to the end of the week if I can pick up my KTM. With the way I feel now, I'm going to have to see you all at the next one.

Here's to hoping I can twist some wrist this weekend.

Can you order the OHV sticker online or do I need to go to a place that sells them?

You can order it online but I don't know if you will receive it in time. If you go to a shop to pick one up will you snag me one. I was going on Friday to get one so if you haven't gone by then I can pick you one up.

Good new ladies. I called and they are opening the OHV trails today! And the chance of rain on Saturday has been reduced to 0%, sunny, high of 84 degrees. Perfect weather. Game on!
