Fayetteville, this Sunday! 8/18/13

It's been too long for me and I'm ready to get me some Orsak's for lunch. If anyone wants to join along I'll be hitting all of the favorite roads to get there.

I'm on a Harley now, and possibly two-up, so the pace will be nice and easy. Definitely noob friendly and easy going, if you wanna tag along and run ahead on the fun roads that's your business. Just don't cry to me if you end up in a ditch trying to be speed racer

Seriously though this is one of the best rides from our area, so if you've never been tag along for a great ride and good food.

This ride is a little over 200 miles round-trip and you should plan to not be back until 3-4pm just to be safe.

Meet spot will be:

Dunn Bro's Coffee 8:45 am, ksu 9:15
6625 S Fry Rd #100
Katy, Tx. 77494

If you are coming from the nw side you can meet me at the Exxon @ 249/1960 at 7:45, or the big Shell @ Hwy 6 (the 1960 one)/290 at 8:15. Either of these will just be a quick stop to grab anyone going and run, so fill up when you get there and be ready.

Dunn Bro's is in the big HEB parking lot over in the corner, if you are meeting there please gas up first when you arrive. Then come over to Dunn Bro's, we'll have a quick Q&A/Safety Meeting before we ksu.

Please indicate where you plan to meet up (Exxon, Shell, or Dunn Bro's).

Dang! Trooper and Bevo on Harley's .. I'll do everything I can to try and make this one.. I like the tiny back roads that I substitute for fm 1094.. Bevo hates those small back goat paths... I am an extremely strong maybe...

Good to see you on 2 wheels again old man. I wish I was in a position to ride as well. IF...and this is me talking and not the doctor.....I can manage to walk in my walking boot/cast , I may be able ride in my SIDI boots in a couple of weeks.. Probably just wishful thinking.

PS,
I just tried to insert my foot into my SIDI....cannot even get it into the boot due to swelling. Yep, wishful thinking for sure.

I hear ya gramps. When I broke my knee I removed the pads from the leg brace so I could ride with it outside my pants and with my knee/shin guards.

Dunn Bro's Coffee meet for me
