Go Pro Hereo 3

So Iíve been thinking of buying a go pro and since they finally got (Most) of the kinks out the firmware for the 3 I want the black edition. But the question is will I really use it? I donít do track days, I mostly do a bunch of city riding a group ride here and there any thoughts or suggestions

If you don't plan on using it, why not settle for something with decent quatlity and a lower price tag. That way, if you don't end up using it as much, you don't spend 300 bucks on it. Have a look at the Drrift HD series... good quality, comes with helmet mounts ( and goggles ) and a remote control for easy start up while riding. I grabbed one beacuse I wasn't sure ( like you ). It's not a go pro... but it really does get the job done.

i wish I wen't with the ghost. I have the 720... but quite honestly, it's still epic quality. People can see my videos just fine with zero issues. Good luck with the buy, either way... we gotta see some vids!

I got the Hero2 and use it on every ride, just in case I see something. My last use was at the central meet and it has awesome quality.

Do you edit your vids, or just record and post?

Contour went out of business so if they are on your list of possible cameras I would go ahead and scratch them off. I have heard good thing about the drift line. I love my go pro but i hate how it is like a sail on top of my head and it bothers my neck alot from how much it tugs.

I just got a 16 gig sd card and stick my phone i my helmet between the breathbox and the helmet. Works Perfectly. My other option is to mount my waterproof phone case next to the grip.

I think the Hero 2 was more aerodynamic.

If you don't need the wifi (you don't) or the super high resolution (you don't) just get a Hero 2.

Buy a 3... never use it... and then trade it to me for my Hero HD....
