I use to work with a magician. He'd hold a red ball up twice and say "I hold a red ball in my hand". He would throw it in the air twice so their brains were imprinted with seeing a red ball being thrown. Then he would switch it to a blue ball, no slight on hand required and say "ok, I'm going to take this red ball and make it disappear, everyone sees the red ball right?". 98% of the room still saw the red ball, held in front of them. The last 2% would look around the room, see that everyone else saw a red ball, and then tada, to them it is now a red ball. Acts like he's throwing it, and it vanishes mid air. Points at his hand and says "Now I have a blue ball". Laughter and anger as brains try to catch up. No smoke. No mirrors. Slowly, right in front of you. Humans be stupid.

The human brain doesn't process unexpected objects that well and inserts past known good data. ie, clear lane. You've all done it. Been looking intensely for something (keys, wallet, glasses), getting to the point of mad and then someone points out it's right in front of you. You know you looked there but the brain refused to see it. Abracazam, now it's there. What happened next? Laughter or anger.

Most of the cagers aren't trying to be dicks when they glare at you after almost hitting you. That's just the brain's response to non correlative input data. Suddenly everything the brain thought it knew about it's spacial environment turned out to be wrong.

Notice I said MOST of the cagers. Some people are just natural dicks. I'm surprised they arent already on a bike.

Get over it. Don't ride next to cages. Expect humans to be dumb simple creatures. Cause we are.
agreed with that 1st statement. Even when I'm in my SUV riding next to anything else moving ain't happening. Unless I'm passing.

AS for the 2nd......And I always thought my house was haunted or something. Cause I knew it was right here, but I have to look there 2 or 3 times in between looking every where else I can think. Before I finally find it where it should have been all along.

In A/V work we have a rule about setting anything down on hotel carpet. That is all random patterns made to make stains disappear. Well, everything else disappears as well. Nothing like being one of 4 hands (stagehands) crawling on the floor rubbing every inch with your hands trying to find the 2"x1" bolt that is right in front of you. Screw drivers, wrenches, they just go poof! As soon as you touch it they POOF back into existance. Throws you for a loop the first few times. You start to question everything you know about Life, The Universe, and Everything.

Good. You could have easily been seen. I've never had an issue with motorcycles next to me while I'm driving. I'm getting new gloves so that should help in that department as well.

The fact that the almost killed me and then was a about it completely justifies me beating his side mirror off. let the exact same thing that happened to me happen to you, let's see how calm you are. you proaly would have gone down anyway so nevermind.

I wouldn't recommend damaging other people's property. It's a fine line. The car driver could mess up anyone's bike in a parking lot just because...
