I'd say I almost know exactly how you feel. My first trip there was also a 2 day'er.

But 2 things made my trip a little more restful.
1 I had my Travel Trailer.
2 It was in October not AUGUST. lol!

Dam I got up this morning like I always do. In time to eat breakfast before work, but then realized that I can't eat. I gotta give the blood for our yearly physical at work. I was supposed to do it yesterday, but I didn't remember before breakfast. owell at least I have time to catch up.

Pick up the pace a wee bit, and L3 will be a blast...instead of sandbagging in L2 and "winning the special olympics."

This was fun. They would catch me on the back section, and I would pass them on the straight.

yeah, I've been riding track days for a couple of years now and I think the pace has been pick-upped, best I can. I figured out TWS (Texas World Speedway) at 2:15 is my comfort and makes the best ride for me.

Still gonna get my license.

Thanks

bull dude, when i went out with you guys, craig and me had our bikes off the warmers, our tires were getting cold and you were still sitting taking your time getting your bike off the warmers, gear on, talking to someone and all these other shenanigans and finally me and craig started going out to the track and you were playing catch up the whole time... craig did fine, he kept up behind me because he stayed with me and it was craigs first time to TWS (Texas World Speedway) and this was your 2nd, i had to be running like a 2:30+ pace

Jimmy always takes his time. I tried following your line until you went into race mode. No worries bro. I had a great time.
